Jollibee has 20 stores in Hong Kong spread across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. This is the Filipino fried chicken and spaghetti joint that locals and overseas Filipinos actually go to here, not just one or two, but all of them. Some barang, but this shows the strength of how much they love Jolibee.

6. Maxim’s MX — 32 fast food outlets in Hong Kong
Maxim’s MX is full on Hong Kong style fast food from the Maxim’s group. Roast meats with rice, baked dishes, noodles, everything a local wants quick. Historical data and local sources show there are about 32 MX fast food outlets in Hong Kong.

5. Pizza Hut — 76 outlets
Pizza Hut in Hong Kong is the fast casual pizza and pasta option that locals eat like any Western fast food. Compiled industry listings suggest 76 Pizza Hut locations in Hong Kong.

4. KFC — between 60 and 87 outlets

3. Fairwood — 98 outlets
Fairwood runs 98 outlets in Hong Kong and is the second largest local fast food restaurant chain in the city after Café de Coral. Hong Kong style rice plates, baked favourites, lunch sets, Fairwood is everywhere.

2. Café de Coral — 156 outlets
Café de Coral has about 156 restaurants in Hong Kong, making it the largest locally grown fast food chain. Local breakfasts, BBQ meats with rice, baked pork chop rice, milk tea and more, it is the go to cheap meal for thousands every day.

1. McDonald’s — 256 outlets
McDonald’s is the biggest fast food restaurant chain in Hong Kong by number of locations, with around 256 McDonald’s restaurants peppered across every district, shopping mall and transport hub. From Big Macs to McWings and midnight fries, McDonald’s dominates the Hong Kong fast food landscape.
Hong Kong McDonalds is also legit good and has a number of guest dishes that you do not see in the mainland. Better than China? I think so.
