OK, so while there is no McDonald’s in Cambodia, they do have Burger King, Carl’s Jr., a whole heap of local options, and Nice Burger! Never heard of Nice Burger? Fear not, I went so you do not have to.
Why did I go? Well, because I fancied a burger and this was the second nearest one to my apartment. How was Nice Burger? All in due course.

What’s the Deal with Nice Burger?
Nice Burger is a fast-food joint that opened in 2022. They’ve since expanded to at least four locations across Phnom Penh. The menu is a bit of a mishmash, combining elements from Western fast food chains and local Khmer BBQ. It’s not trying to be gourmet, but it does the job if you’re after a quick, satisfying meal.
The Nice Burger Menu
Nice Burger has that real classic Chinese-style “trying to be a fast food restaurant” vibe. This means it’s rather eclectic and, as well as beef and chicken burgers, wraps, fries, they also always have BBQ-style chicken.
Overall, this means no specialty in anything, but a little bit from Burger King, KFC, and a local Khmer BBQ for all intents and purposes.

Menu Highlights:
- Beef Burger – Standard fare, nothing to write home about.
- Double Cheese Chicken Burger – A standout with two slices of cheese and a juicy chicken patty.
- Spicy Chicken Roll – For those who like a bit of heat.
- BBQ Chicken – Could easily pass as legit street food.
- Wraps – A lighter option if you’re not in the mood for a burger.
- Fries – Crispy and salty, just as they should be.
- Drinks – No draft Coke here; instead, you get a can and some ice.
So, How Is Nice Burger Cambodia?
OK, so I got the beef burger, a two-cheese chicken burger, a wrap, and a big piece of chicken. The beef burger was pretty average, as were the fries. The standouts, though, were the double cheese chicken burger and the chicken, which could have been legit street food. No draft Coke too; instead, you get a can and some ice.
Overall, though, it was pretty good, cheap, and does what it says on the tin. It was also fairly cheap in comparison to the big brands. And it looks nice inside; what more could you want? And honestly, if you can’t accept Nice Burger for what it is, then just don’t come.
You also really have to appreciate the decorations here, they have really gone down the make it look like a burger restaurant vibe. Tacky? Yes, but you knowit is also clean, so hey ho.

Where to Get Nice Burger?
I personally dipped my beak at Akasaka Residences at what used to be our local haunt before Aeon. slapped the market. Other locales can be seen below.
And of course, if you really want, you could even get your own Nice Burger franchise!
Nice Burger Locations:
- Santhormok – Located in the heart of Phnom Penh, this branch offers a cozy atmosphere and a full menu.
- Tuol Tom Poung – Known for its bustling neighborhood vibe and quick service.
- U MALL Market – A convenient spot for shoppers looking to grab a bite.
- Akasaka Residences – A quieter location, perfect for a relaxed meal (although very reasons to come here)
